If Lokiel's map doesn't help, we can try mine.  You will want to use the 'gauges' option from one of the drop down menus.  It will report lots of important things the ecu thinks it is seeing and doing.  The base map I got didn't work at all either and Travis sent me an alternate that I was able to autotune to reasonable quality until I got to a dyno.  There is an option somewhere in the software to switch between imperial and metric also.  Good luck and let us know! Hey all – I have some ’04 Mazdaspeed Miata wheels that I’m looking to sell.  They are in great condition as you can see from the pictures – finish looks great, I can only find one or two small (light) scratches, no curbing at all.  They are wearing 215/45/zr17 Bridgestone Potenza S-02s, with about 70% remaining.

Looking to sell for $650 plus shipping.  Let me know if you have any questions or would like add’l pictures.

What was the boost level doing at 6th gear wide open.  99% sure you are hitting boost cut which just means you need to turn your boost down a bit.  As the weather cools, the air is more dense and manual boost controllers need to be turned down to compensate.  The stock computer has a safety feature that cuts the ignition (and fuel?) like you are describing when the boost goes too high.

I'll take good care of it!  I found $.34 under the seat so the deal is even better than I thought.   rolleyes  From an engineering standpoint, I'm fascinated by this car.  The passenger side is clearly ~2" shorter but the rails, floor pan and tunnel are perfect - not crumpled at all.  It is badly deformed, but I can't tell where yet.   Angry

I went through all of my sawzall blades the first night to get to the engine but the project is progressing nicely!  afro  Thank you again for helping to rescue this drivetrain from scrapyard anonymity.  I will do my best to get every useful part onto my track car or into the hands of enthusiasts who will love them.  Good luck with your future motoring plans!

hey guys, so i noticed my car is bucking (like someone is pushing the car back and forth) and the rpms are shuddering as well. this only happens under full throttle and full boost. and is more noticeable the higher gear. here is a little history on the car to help you guys better diagnose the problem. i installed the full fm intake minus the o2 signal modifier, i regularly change my oil, i always put 93 octane gas. i changed the spark plugs around the same time i installed the fm intake. and i have not had any problems. but 4 days ago i installed a boost gauge and the o2 signal modifier, and the car was driving fine, i autocrossed it Saturday and nothing was wrong, that i noticed. but on the way home from autocross i floored it on the highway in 6th gear and at around 4k rpm the car started bucking, and the check engine light started blinking. i floored it again and same thing. today i uninstalled the o2, and same thing. i turned down the boost, and still bucking. and then i detached the boost gauge and it did it again, but a lot less harsh, but i dont think i noticed it in lower gears like before. but it is still there when i floored it in 6th. do you guys have any idea what the issue is, the check engine light isnt on anymore, but that cause i unplugged the ecu. i was gonna take it to a mazda dealer but now that the light isnt on, the wont see what the error code was.

It should definitely sit low enough if it's not bolted in and is just laying in the space.

If you are looking at the auction, note that it is EXPECTED to sell November 10, 2011.  (not today).  They say they have to receive the title from the state before they sell it.  HE suggested checking back weekly to see if the sale date changes.

my cap does touch the hood, but not enough to cause any movement of the hood mounts. in order to keep the fluid level above the pump it must sit high. otherwise 80% of your fluid is unusable because it is below the pump.  also, send me some pics i might be able to help.

It's probably just something odd and unique about my car - that's how my luck works.  Smiley

Thanks.
