Nice fit, is that on stock ride height?  Any rubbing issues?

Z211's are the only Hankook DOT-R's that come in that size...So I would assume thats what they are.  I also see a tread pattern in the first pic, which the Z214 has none to speak of that would be visible from the side.

Because they are 235 which makes the sidewall taller.

Tire calculator makes a 205/40/17 to have a 3.2" sidewall and a 235/40/17 has a 3.7" sidewall

Yup

Normally if you make the tire wider you need to go to a lower ratio number to keep the tire diameter the same.  In the case of our MSM going to a slightly taller tire isn't so bad as it "hurts" first gear which is okay.  Of course it does throw off your speedometer though.

Look here for tire ratios:

A little something Keith whipped up a few years ago.

Looks great. Any increase in road/tire noise?

these are z211 racing tires, so noise isnt an issue. There is a slight bit of rub when under hard susspension use.

Also, this is on the stock suspension. stock ride height, everything.

So, how do they stick?  Have you had enough time on them to compare to Toyo RA-1's or Hoosier DOT's??

How long do you expect these to last?  I am thinking of changing to a harder compound tire when my v710s wear out.

i'm hoping they will last a year, with an autox or 2 every month...

They are new tires to the US, so no one really knows yet... Smiley  As always, I will share what I find.
