Never used either brand but this video really pushed All-fit over EZ-lip

Finally installed my vent gauge pod. The autometer gauge is being replaced with a Speedhut boost gauge when it gets here next week.

Washed it, and jiggled the TPS connector to fix a sudden 3200rpm idle problem.

Winter rubber goes on this weekend.

I didn't see a pod for the Miata listed on his page.  Where did this come from.  I currently have a 3 gauge pod installed, but like this idea should I need to add another.

Yeah, it's not listed on his page. But he made one March 2014 and he has pics posted on his facebook page. You can email him and he'll get back to you. A lot of guys use his vent pods on the mazdaspeed 3 forum i'm on.

Got the FM Spark kit wired up. My tuner did a great job with it, and it took 4 hours total including running the wires, removing the ECU, replacing it, etc. and we had 3 total people on the job. Runs great though, and looks nice as well. Only thing FM doesn't include in the Spark Kit are these wire separators which I think are nice to have and make things neater. I figured FM of all people would include them, especially for what they charge for the thing!

1st brake job on a Miata! Pads, rotors, and stainless steel brake lines. It's raining too hard to bed them in, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if it will actually stop.  Shocked

Also replaced a gasket to (hopefully) fix a leak where the FM midpipe mates with the muffler. I've been having trouble with it leaking halfway between the bolts since Day 1.

I finally restored my driver side window.
It was way easier than I anticipated.
I should have done this much sooner.

Ah ha! I get that high idle occasionally too. Thanks for that tidbit.

Had lots of frost this AM, and snow in the forecast for Sunday. Humbug! So my winter rubber goes on as soon as 2 new tires show up & get mounted (today I think) and I can get my black Craig's List D-Force Spec Miata alloys Plastidipped to look nickel. So this weekend, or next week sometime, which will let me have a look at the inner front brake pads.

Inner rear pads are nearly gone, so I'm deep in brake pad selection agonization. R4S or Carbotech street 1541? Less analysis paralysis and wallet impact if I only need rears...

When you change your pads, pay close attention to the caliper sliders and lube them for sure. Uneven pad wear (inner vs. outer) suggests your sliders may be seized.

Yes, that's what I was thinking. PO was meticulous about a lot of stuff, doesn't seem this was one of them.

Picked up a used hardtop a couple of weeks ago, refinished it and completed the reveal molding install.  Hardtop is ready to go.

Before pic showing original blue with maroon paint job.

Completed hardtop installed.
